How Have U2 Ever Survived...

Don't get me wrong I think U2 have some of the best songs in existence but they don't have any of the best albums. There is such an appeal of sounding amateur but hasn't it been used to an extreme extent? All credit to them - they are very successful and I own three or four of their albums. Strange a band without a particularly startling album can be so prominent.
